Welcome to the new home of our Family Tree site!  We hope you will visit often, 
and share ideas and news in the guest book.  This site will house the family 
genealogy and pictures of our Harrington, Calverley and others of LYNN'S 
ancestry.  I must express thanks to the distant cousins I've found in the search, who 
have given 
much of the information you will encounter.  Getting to meet and know some of you has 
been a great joy and your input to my file is inexpressably appreciated!
I am a descendent of UNITED EMPIRE LOYALISTS. My ggggg Grandfather on my Mother's 
side, Ebenezer Hartwell b. abt 1746 was a Seargent in Col. James Vandenburgh's 
Regiment in the Revolutionary War. (See note at his family page).  On my Father's 
side my gggg Grandfather Samuel 
Rose b. 1745 was involved in the War also. (See note at his family page.)
Due to the size of our file, we have to use two sites. There is a 
link below for JOAN's ancestry.   We recently took pictures of 
the gravestones of our own parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and some 
great-great-grandparents for the making of a heritage book.  We can add them to 
this site if there is interest in seeing them.  We hope this site will be 
informative and beneficial to us all.
